Content theft is a serious thing for the blogger, or in other words we can call it plagiarism. so, how to prevent plagiarism, we must know how we are protecting our blog content.
there are several ways that we can do to prevent plagiarism:
1. copyright banners.
with this banner we directly say “this my content, and my content is protected by copyright!”, in this way, we already gave a warning to the plagiarist, so, if we make the claim in the future, we can say that “we have been given the label protected by copyright law!”, so there is no reason to defend for plagiarist.
2. License your content
some Blogger may be agreed if the content they have made are used by third parties, but, do not forget to obey terms of service, from the use of the content. for example: source of article with live link
3. Protect your RSS feed
one general function of the rss feed is to provide content to read by readers from the bloggers who create the content, however, this function is sometimes used to make autoblog, which means our content is automatically copied
4. Provide Partial Feeds
methods to prevent feed scrapping is by providing a partial feed.
5. Watermark your content
this way is used to protect the image content, which is in your blog
6. Prevent image hotlinking
usually, plagiarist will do “copy image link location”, which is in the image of our blogs, and that means our content and bandwidth has been stolen by plagiarist.
7. Use CopyRight Pro Plugin
This is a wordpress plugin that we can use to prevent copy-paste, by disabling right click.
