You must be know about special symbols such as heart (♥), musical notes (♫), copyright (©), smiley face (☺), trade mark (™) and etc. But, do you know how to make these symbols? Actually there’s an easy way to create these symbols and it is fun.
You can make symbols with your keyboard, using the alt key. Moreover, you can post the symbols on social network site / tools such as Facebook, MySpace and Instant Messenger. Not only that, you can also create symbols on office documents, such as microsoft word, notepad, wordpad, microsoft powerpoint, and etc.

For PC keyboard
Make sure you turn on the Num Lock. Use the combination (join) of “Alt” key and numbers on numeric keypad, not the horizontal numbers!
For example, to make a heart symbol, press and hold “Alt” key – then press 3 in the same time.

For Laptop Keyboard
Laptop users can also make special symbols using the “Alt” key as well. First, you have to activate the num lock, press Fn and F11(NumLk). Now your keypad numbers are M(0), J(1), K(2), L(3), …and so forth.
For example, to create heart symbol, press and hold “Alt” key then press 3 (or L)
