Alexa rangkings is an traffic indicators for blog or website, alexa rangking is important for bloggers who want to get money from “online earning programs” like TLA and reviewme, they use your site’s Alexa rank as a way to determine the quality of a link on your blog.

Actually, I do not agree if the Alexa rangkings used as traffic  indicators for blog or website, because I’ve seen the blog that has a lower alexa, have higher traffic, compared to blogs that have lower traffic.

because it, I do not believe for ranking given by the alexa. but sometimes, there are bloggers who are looking for tips and tricks on increasing alexa rangkings, Ok, if it is important for bloggers to follow the online earning program like TLA and reviewme I will explain tips about “how to improve alexa rangkings“.

1. You can install the “alexa toolbar” on your computer and surf your own site.
2. told friends who use the alexa toolbar to surf your own site

3. Use the signature in the discussion forums that have good traffic

4. Write an article like this, “how to increase your Alexa rankings

5. do exchange traffic, but it is not recommended, because it is not a real visitor.

6. use the Alexa rank widget on your blog.

7. Buy banners and links to blogs that have high traffic

8. be advertiser at PPC

Ok, I think it is the tips that given by masters of SEO, and if you think want to increase your alexa rangkings, you can try it!.

This time I will discuss more on what the advantages and disadvantages of each-2 and what features offered by Blogger and WordPress.

1. Blogger

Advantages:

*   Owned by Google.

*   Very fast indexed (listed / registered on the Search Engines more quickly). This is important because the website that is quickly indexed will soon be plastered on the pages of Google search engine.

*   Ad-bar from Google will always appear at the top of your blog.

*   There are no plug-in or add-on to add/install

2. WordPress

Advantages:

*    Being Open-Source – you can modify anything as you wish.

*    Because of its “Open Source”, many developers and programmers who made additional functions and features for WordPress.

*    Lots of Theme and Template to choose from (If you installed WordPress on your own hosting).

*    Widget Ready – like “Elements” from Google that allows you to add features – features that are available in your Blog

*    Supports Google AdsenseTM Program – With a plug-in developed by third parties adding Adsense code in your blog is made easy (only if we host the file on our private hosting)

*    WordPress Display can be configured similar to CMS (Content Management System), it doesn’t look like a Blog.

*    You can add Video / Image

*    There is no AD-Bar

Disadvantages:

*    The drawback of wordpress is that you have to install it on your own file hosting to make it look like you want
